As Controller, Marilyn manages the daily financial operations for Dominion Realty Partners, LLC. In addition to the Partnership's financial reporting her responsibilities include preparation and review of financial statements for properties that are third party managed including interface with external auditors and third party owners. She also performs budgeting and forecasting functions and tracks expenditures on properties in the development stage. She also is responsible for administering Human Resources and the IT requirements for the Partnership.
Marilyn has over 25 years experience in commercial real estate accounting including development, leasing and property management of Class A office buildings, apartments and homeowners associations in the Raleigh area. Prior to joining Dominion Realty Partners, she held positions at Sunstates Corporation, Highwoods Properties and Regency Park Corporation.
Marilyn attended Appalachian State University and NC State University and holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Business Administration. She and her husband Mike live in North Raleigh and have two sons.
